Negroni Prosciutto: From The Village of Magreta, In The Province Of Modena, Region Emilia-Romagna, Italy

Negroni Authentic Italian Prosciutto is manufactured in the village of Magreta which belongs to the municipality of Formigine, in the province of Modena region Emilia-Romagna.

The territory of Emilia Romagna is near the border with Tuscany. Within Emilia Romagna is also the independent republic of San Marino, the most ancient republic in Europe, with a population of about 26,000 inhabitants, whose economy is mostly based on agriculture, tourism and the issue of stamps and coins.

The food industry is flourishing, as is also tourism along the Adriatic “Riviera”, one of the most crowded and lively seaside areas in Italy, as well as to the art cities and the spa center of Salsomaggiore. The region is Italy’s first producer of wheat, sugar-beet and fruit, second producer of barley and soy beans. Another important resource is the raising of pigs, cattle and poultry, with intensive and modern systems, at the basis of the production of Parmesan cheese and world famous Negroni Prosciutto.

Negroni’s Authentico Italiano selection includes:
Prosciutto Arrosto
– a traditional Italian roasted ham made in Italy using only selected pork shanks and rich blend of garlic, rosemary and fine Mediterranean herbs.

Prosciutto Cotto – a traditional Italian cooked ham made in Italy using selected pork shanks and natural flavorings and is lighter in color and sweeter in flavor than Prosciutto Arrosto.

Mortadella
– a traditional Italian cooked specialty made in Italy based on a 500 year old recipe from the province of Emilia Romagna.

Prosciutto di Parma – the most renowned dry-cured Italian ham, made with the best Italian pork legs, packed in a strictly defined region around Parma, Italy. Parma is a beautiful Italian city known for its monuments, castles, opera and haute cuisine!
