Who doesn’t love a sandwich full of delicious smoky prosciutto flavor?  We do!

Lean prosciutto de parma is a little like ham and adds flavor, texture and contrast. Tomatoes and basil add a lot more fresh flavor to the sandwich. The best part about making a panini with Italian meats and cheese is that it doesn’t take more than a few slices to make a flavorful sandwich. It is fairly economical as well, you only need an ounce or two for the prosciutto to make a big flavor impact on the sandwich.
